Protesters in Tel Aviv Demand Hostage Release Deal
A newspaper detailed that protesters marched from Hostage Square in the heart of Tel Aviv toward the US Embassy branch on HaYarkon Street, calling for a comprehensive agreement.
According to the newspaper, the demonstrators carried placards and chanted slogans demanding an end to the conflict and the immediate liberation of the captives.
Former hostages who were freed by Hamas were also said to have participated in the rally.
The participants made direct appeals to Israeli authorities and US President Donald Trump, urging them to advance toward finalizing an all-encompassing arrangement.
The newspaper report also noted that hundreds of demonstrators organized similar protests in other locations, including Karkur Junction and Rothschild Street in Caesarea, situated in the northern region.
Over the past 21 months, several rounds of indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas have taken place in an effort to end the conflict and enable a prisoner exchange.
Two partial agreements were successfully reached in November 2023 and January of this year.
